ART WORKSHOPS
EXHIBITIONS

ABOUT

We launched a community art space dedicated to sustainable art, fashion and design in the embrace of Millenáris Park and Marczibányi Square in the 2nd district of Budapest, Hungary in July 2023, where we work on our latest art projects and jewelry commissions, workshops take place, visitors can view colorful exhibitions, interesting, aesthetic objects, and during the workshops people can get involved in the creation themselves. Since the place also functions as a design shop, you can also take home what you like. With our programs and workshop sessions, we want to promote sustainable fashion and design, and present today's opportunities in the goldsmith's craft, as well as in textile-, ceramic-, glass art, and graphics design. This is the MUMU workshop museum, where nearly 40 contemporary artists are currently represented. Recycled and fair trade precious metal jewelry, glass jewelry, plant-dyed and reimagined clothes, fashion accessories, organic cotton t-shirts, pullovers printed with eco-ink, ceramics, felt, embroidery and punch-needle objects, cyanotypes, riso prints, postcards and other prints, sustainable fashion books, art books, as well as special ceramic light switches, connectors, and unique small furniture can also be found in the MUMU, and you can also take a look at PLANTETHICS' goldsmith's workshop.

We want to show that with a smaller ecological footprint, recycled materials, saving value, and the simultaneous application of traditional and the latest technologies, we can enrich our everyday lives with unique, nature-inspired creations. This is the MUMU workshop museum, where you can not only view, but also closely connect with today's object culture, you can look and create, get to know each other, try things out, ask questions, and make friends.

In the long run, we would like to represent domestic sustainable industrial and fine arts efforts, providing an opportunity for the appearance of contemporary domestic and international artists who, while respecting traditions and using sustainable technologies, create decorative and functional objects and fashion accessories that meet today's needs. Our other goal is to educate those who visit us, develop their individual skills and publish publications with which we can help the everyday life of our community.

What is also special about the MUMU is that you can enjoy the sustainable workshops not only at our place, but also at a hen party, family-, friend- or company event, we bring the creative workshops to your home or business.

Thank you very much for being with us! Feel free to contact us if you have any questions, ideas or suggestions for cooperation!

We look forward to seeing you from Tuesday to Friday between 2:00pm and 7:00pm if you want to take home sustainable fashion and design items and prints, and see you on weekends at our art workshops!
